The Lost Region of Australia

In a remote part of Northern Australia, far from modern cities and towns, there is a place that existed back in ancient times and is seen by very few people...the lost region of Australia.
This land is separated by a deep, circular ravine that is impassable except by helicopter. In this land, dinosaur once roamed this very place and just like the past, they roam it once more...all thanks to a mercenary known as Roland Kane. The dinosaurs rule here and they only thing keeping them in this area is the ravine that neither giant sauropod or feathered theropod could pass...a natural barrier made by mother nature. But it is here that a battle is being raged of a different kind. Deep within the forests, two American soldiers are trying to fight of a black ops mercenary squad known as Wolf Pack. Wolf Pack's soldiers have killed the rest of their team and they are the only ones left. Their goal was to takeout Roland Kane, but they were ambushed by Kane's forces. The two soldiers are pinned down and they don't see a Wolf Pack soldier arming an SMAW rocket launcher. Once loaded, the soldier places the weapon on his shoulder and aims it. Within a second or two, he fires the rocket and it hits the log that the Americans were hiding behind, blasting the area apart. The American forces are eliminated and Kane's soldiers now head back to the main compound. Most of the soldiers head to the main facility, but one soldier walks towards a small outpost beside a shallow river.
He walks inside, carrying a ORO War Horse Chain-gun with him, and he walks up towards a room.
As he gets close to the room door, it opens automatically and reveals a unique mapping room with a vast array of technology. Walking past all of it, another door opens and a man stands near a window. The soldier approaches him, but some movement catches his eye. He turns and sees a dinosaurs laying down in a corner of the room. The dinosaur is actually Kane's personal pet, Lurtz, a Piatnitzkysaurus. The soldier stops and says to the man "Sir, we had some trouble with a squad of American soldiers, but they have been eliminated". "As I expected, but tell me something" says the man before turning around, revealing himself as Kane. "Are there anymore of them out there" asks Kane. "Not that I am aware of, sir" says the soldier. Kane walks up to him and then two other Wolf Pack soldier walk in, aiming their guns at the soldier talking to Kane. "Well, I think your telling me a lie" says Kane. The soldier turns and looks at the other aiming their weapons at him, but Kane draws out a combat knife and stabs him in his arm. He drops his chain-gun before he kneels down on his left knee, yelling in pain. "Nice try, but no man can kill me so easily" says Kane walking away before he turns and looks at Lurtz. "Töten sie ihn" he says to Lurtz who growls and lunges at the soldier, grabbing him in his jaws. The soldier yells as the dinosaurs teeth and claws tear through his armor and he dies a slow death.

The arrival of Burt Gummer

Meanwhile, on the outskirts of the Secret Base that was owned by Kane, a large US army helicoptor flies over the ravine. It was designed to be undetected by anyone. It comes to a stop & lands with the the doors open near the jungle. Out comes around 20 soldiers, all armed & ready for a misson, one to investegate & try to stop the operation that Kane possesed here, but who was leading them was a man that lives to his name. A survivalist that lives in Perfection Valley, Nevada. He has delt with a species of animal that went extinct long ago called the graboid. He was a former US soldier when he was chosen to lead these men to this misson. His name..........is Burt Gummer!
Burt came out, looking around the jungle, taking his sunglasses out & looking at his assigned men, "Alright men, you know the drill. Scout the area & gather what info you need. We will stop this Roland Kane's operation here." he says.
"Yes sir!" the men replied with a salute & soon, they trek into the jungles of the compound. Burt looks on as 3 teams are now on the mission. But lead one group as they enter the unknown lands & residence humans & dinosaurs alike of this region.

With the American spy now dead, Kane sends the two soldiers away. Then, as they leave the room, a man walks past them and into the room. The man is John Grimes, Kane's right hand man and second in command of the Wolf Pack forces. Grimes looks down at Lurtz, who is feasting on the American's body before looking back at Kane and asking him "Having some excitement now huh"? "Not too exciting, do you need something, John" asks Kane. "The American forces are all eliminated and I haven't seen any signs of more, but knowing the agrogance of the Americans, they have probably sent additional forces...no offense to you though" says Grimes. "None taken" replies Kane. "Lurtz" says Kane. Lurtz then looks up at Kane, blood on his snout from the dead man's body. "Suche" Kane says to the dinosaur. Lurtz then turns and looks at the door before he dashes past Grimes and runs out of the room. "Lurtz will search the surrounding area and he will report back here if he finds anything that will be a threat" says Kane. Meanwhile, Lurtz runs out of the outpost and scans the area in front of him before running into the forest, searching for anything he hasn't seen in the area before.

Gummer had lead his men intoo the jungles of the new terrain to find the compound Kane was in. They hacked through thick foliage & plants. But at the same time, they kept quiet. They know from the mission files that this place had dinosaurs in it. Burt, being a survivalist, knows what to do if he was attacked by a wild dinosaur, he would either have to drive it away with loud noises, or actually kill it if nessecary!

The men enter the thick forest searching for the whereabouts of Kane…however, they are unaware that they are being watched themselves by a deadly predator; an alpha male Variraptor. He is just out of sight near a clearing in the forest; his eyes watch the movements of the soldiers.
Variraptors are among three species of raptor dinosaurs that roam the isolated land and they are the second largest species that are found here, but these Variraptors are known by Kane’s men as the “feathered wolfs” because they readily attack and kill humans for food. The alpha then begins to create an almost bird-like call, which can be compared to a hawk or eagle’s call. He continues calling, delaying his call every few seconds so that the men don’t become suspicious…and soon, the other pack members come in. Within a minute or so, thirteen Variraptors now silently follow the lead male, with the alpha female by his side. The alpha raptors then produce clicking sounds to their pack mates and the other raptors run off to set up an ambush while the alphas stay at the rear with two other Variraptors, likely their offspring.

As Gummer & his men were walking through the jungles of the isolated land. Burt has a feeling he & his men are being stalked by something in the nearby bushes. He takes out his rapid firing machine gun just incase, "Stay sharp, men." he quietlly says to his men, who nod as they followed him, keeping their eyes peeled.

Two Variraptors silently creep up behind a soldier that is at the rear of the group. Their padded feet help them to remain silent and avoid mis-steps that could give away their position to their prey. The soldier senses that something isn't right and turns around, standing amongst a cluster of ferns. His eyes scan the area, but nothing sticks out to him. He turns back around to follow the rest of the group when one of the Variraptors lunges at his face and knocks him to the ground, making him drop his weapon. He tries to wrestle the raptor off of him, but the second Variraptor grabs his throat with his jaws and he goes silent. The raptors quickly drag him away and into the undergrowth just as some of the other soldiers notice what's happening.

Some of the soldiers look around as they heard the rustling of bushes. Burt turns as he doesn't see the soldier who was dragged away by the mysterious Variraptors. Almost reminding him of the vicious Shriekers, he steps forwad & picks up the fallen rifle, "Stay sharp men. We're not alone." he says as they move on, but keeping their eyes peeled for these dinosaurs.

The Variraptor duo have started to feed on the soldier's body, but the alpha raptors hiss and snarl at them, reminding them of the position in the pack. The other raptors begin to spread out and they begin surrounding the group of soldiers. Soon, the right flank is blocked...then the left flank and then the rear. The raptors are in clear sight, but they hold back their assault and the alpha raptors and the two lesser raptors beside them stand before Burt and his squadron.

Burt saw that the mysterious creatures emerge out in plain sight, "Variraptors!" he says as all the men ready themselfs, aiming their guns at the predators & prepare to either shoot them on the spot, or scare them off!

Surrounded and with little chance of defending themselves from the pack, the soldiers may just be staring death in the face. The alpha raptors flash their teeth with a toothy grin, readying their clawed hands and toes for their assault. The pack prepares to attack from all sides, all in one single action. But then, a echoing roar travels through the forest, making the Variraptors bend down in fright. The pack seems fearful and panicked, the raptors of lower rank look around with many abandon their leaders and the attack on the soldiers. The alphas stand their ground, but another loud and echoing roar seals the deal; they run off into the thick forest undergrowth, leaving the soldiers alone.

Gummer hears the roars of something larger as he watches the Variraptors leave, "Something bigger is around, men. We'll need to set up camp for the night." he says as he & the soldiers prepare themselves to set up camp for the night.

Unknown to Burt and his men, Lurtz was watching them from the cover of the forest undergrowth. His assignment from Kane was to search and locate any other forces that weren't of Kane's forces, so with Burt and his men located, Lurtz now runs off unseen to find Kane. Meanwhile, some of Kane's lower ranking troops have setup a small base camp for the night and twenty-five men are at this camp. Most are working to finish what is left to be put up in the camp while a few of the soldiers keep an eye out for any danger, which means marauding theropod dinosaurs. As they continue their work, they are unaware of an approaching threat, but in the back of their minds...there is a deep fear of this particular threat. One portroling guards walks along the edge of the campsite, but he notices a very faint break in the darkness...a dark brown coloration blending in with the black of the nighttime forest. He thinks little of it, but decides to turn on the flashlight attached to the barrel of his gun and shines it at the dark brown figure. But in doing so, he notices that the figure is moving slightly...and this is a breathing movement. He starts to shake and slowly brings the beam of his flashlight upward. But then, his body is then crushed by a pair of massive jaws studded with massive teeth. It happens so fast, that the only sound made is the crushing of his bones. Then, the figure emerges in the form of a massive theropod; a Tyrannosaurus! The other soldiers are alerted to the animals presence by the thunderous stomping of her feet. Some of the men turn and begin firing their weapons, only to be hit by the predator's massive head, sending them flying. Other soldiers try to run, but the dinosaurs seizes two men in her jaws and beneath her feet, crushes two more. With a roar, she then charges through a tent, destroying it with no effort and she turns her head to see a four soldiers trying to start a transport vehicle. One shoots at her, but the bullets only inrage her to approach the car and bite down on it, lifting it off the ground and slamming it to the ground, the bodies of the men falling out dead. A number of small fires have started around her and the few remaining men have ran off. She then turns her head to the right, revealing a massive amount of scars around her right eye...this is the dreaded tyrant of the land; Mama Scar-Face!

Unaware that they were being spied on & all that has happened with the new arrival elsewhere, Gummer still prepares the camp with his men. Most of them keep on their guard & duty incase any animals try to attack them from the cover of the thick rainforest.

Mama Scar-Face stands amongst the destruction she has caused, destroyed rubble and parts of human limbs scattered around. Then, her keen sense of smell picks up a familiar scent, which makes her turn to her left and there stands Kane and Lurtz with a few soldiers around them. Mama Scar-Face then approaches Kane while the soldiers back away; Lurtz stands his ground despite the size of the monsterous Rex. She leans towards him and sniffs him and Kane places his hand on her snout. "Very good, big girl...you amaze me to this day" he says to Scar-Face. "Now then, go and find those other soldiers that are gonna cause us trouble...and kill them". "Bring death to them" he yells. Mama Scar-Face roars before she walks off into the distance, out of sight.

The Super Soldier

The jungles of this forbidden land were as deadly as the animals within it. Indeed, there seemed to beno save havon. Every turn one makes, there was danger at every corner. No matter where one would go, danger seemed to be everywhere. It was a hostile & unforgiving environment. It was certainly no place for men & the area smelled of sinister people & evil men. People who sought refuge here in the large base secretly kept in the area.....Until now. The calls of carnivorous, man marauding dinosaurs echoed from the darkest corners of the jungle. As sense of fear & terror went through many of the soldiers veins at the very sounds. Some of nearby, predatory jackals & some, belonging to mega-ton monsters. But the sound of distant gun fire & roars was a definite sign. Something was out there & it wouldnt be long before that something would be after Gummer & his men. Just the fact that something would eventually come to try & eat them at every corner caused many man to become scared. They were afraid to move. Indeed, it seemed that eveyr trace of courage & braveery had been drained from some of the men. But yet, even through all this terror & forbbiden sense of evil, there was still one thing that these men had. One thing that could not be taken.......Hope. Yes, indeed, the men kept a glimmer of hope inside them & from that, building courage was being formed. For even though the enemy seemed to have had the environment to their side & despite all the forces that were against them, both Kane & his forces & even the environment itself......Gummer & his group had their own secret weapon. One that could very well tackle & face the threats of the island head on. But what was it? Was it an actual weapon?.....No. Far from it. This "Big Gun" they had with them was, infact.....A Man. A man unlike any that had come before or after. A man renowned to the rest of the world for such reputation. For it was this very man who gave the group of soldiers & even Gummer himself the ray of hope & courage they needed to survive & press on. His very appearance & presence among others would inspire great wonder & respect. For this single man was the perfect volunteer & ally to assist on this particular mission through reputation & experience. A true survivalist who could master any terrain. He accompanied Gummer & his men on the mission in the helps of getting through the terrain safely & to attempt to stop this evil that lurks in the jungles. Before long, in the campsite, a single figure emerged from one of the tents. A man dressed & suited in a tactical uniform, patterned with the red white & blue of the American Flag & with the symbolism of what he stood for- Freedom, Justice & Liberty Strapped behind his back was a massive shield. Colored with the very same insignia & with a single white star. A shield that was so powerfully made & reinforced, that not even the full on powerful bite of a Tyrannosaur could scratch or dent it & could allow this single man to face explosions & fire power head on! But what was even more fascinating about this single man was the fact that he was one such human being with amazing physical physique & capability. In fact, he was beyond physical & anatomical perfection. All thanks to a special genetic enhancement inside his blood stream that was passed down by his ancestor, another Great American hero. Just like himself. A "Super Soldier" if you will. The very sight of this single man walking from his tent caught the eyes of every single man in his path. Who took a moment to pause & gaze upon him with wonder & hope. They payed their respects to their hero with a single salute. For he was, indeed, a great hero....The Great American Hero & the symbol of freedom of all free people. The Star Spangled Man. For this......Was Nathanial Rogers. This......Was Captain America.

Gummer had set up his tent & prepared himself to rest for the night. He then turns to see Nathaniel Rogers, knowing he was a PERFECT ally to recruit in his team. He approaches him, "You got your tents set up, soldier?" he asks.

Rogers soon approached Gummer as well with a slight smile upon his face to see his ally. "As much as I could sir. This ground may not be the best to set tents up, but it'll do for now." he replied with a salute, respecting him Gummer as the head of the operation. Then, he began to walk with the man throughout the camp.

Meanwhile, a rather futuristic-looking aircraft flew over this lost region of Australia. The goal was interrogating it's owner, Roland Kane, of helping professor Wesker in achieving his goal of world domination. Soon, the ship landed into the jungle, the door opened, and out walked the lead dinosaur designer of the world - doctor Neo Cortex!

He tread carefully, carrying a plasma gun. He is followed by a dozen androids, who will protect him in case he is attacked. His goal is talking Kane into arriving to the Umbrella headquarters and negotiating with Wesker on joining him.

"The Man of the Hour"

Kane then looks on before saying "Good to know your still around, sir". "I see you have gotten better at training your monster" says a voice. The other soldiers look around, trying to see who Kane is speaking to. Then, a electrical sound is heard before a man in a exo-suit appears from out of nowhere, standing in front of a small fire caused by Scar-Face's previous attack. It is the only man who Kane truly respects and is outranked by; Alcatraz.
And from the smoke, two heavy soldiers come from behind him. They carry their weapons in front of them and they sport heavy armor for protection. They always accompany Alcatraz to protect him, though he almost never needs their protection; for he is very dangerous by himself.

Gummer walked around the camp with Rogers beside him, looking over where his men are as they set up a perimeter to keep the area secure from dinosaur attacks.

Rogers walked side by side with Gummer, walking along with him & among their forces while a safe perimeter was being kept. "Those animal cries are making the men nervous. & those gun shots I heard earlier werent as settling either. We might want to make our perimeter more secure around key locations. That river about 200 yards away looks like a cross way for anything that wants to take a bite out of us can get past easily. & that patch of trees & open woods another 50 yards from there looks the same way. We'll be sitting ducks if were caught." he then informed Gummer.

"Yes, that would work, Captian. Alright." Gummer says as he soon tells his men to put the perimeter around the river 200 yards from the camp.

As he watched a few men preparing to set up a secure perimeter, Rogers himself soon gets ready to go as well. He straps his shield tightly behind him & keeps his mask over his face. "I'll go with them. To make sure things don't get harry. Never know when something might pounce out of nowhere." he said to Gummer before preparing to head out himself. He got ready to walk with the men before turning to his side & eying Gummer once more. "We'll be back in about half hour tops. Count on it." he said to him. & thus turned back to the other soldiers. "Move out!" He cried. & with that, he began to rush out into the jungle with the men. Heading out to set themselves a safe perimeter.

Trudging through the jungle, Cortex looked around for wildlife. But then, he saw smoke rising from an area in the jungle. He charged his plasma pistol and began to walk over there quietly. A small fire like this was not caused by any thunder, but by some man-made weapon. So Cortex kept his guard. Looking behind, he saw the two men. He was quite certain that one of them was the man he was looking for - Roland Kane! He looks at the two men talking to each other, yet he doesn't show himself still. He waits for the right moment to come.
