Rogers had begun to move out with the rest of the other troops. They began to head out to set their perimeter so they could be more safe when a threat shows up. The super solder trudged along the path of trees & ferns with incredible & surprising ease, speed & agility. Clearly, he was a man with near beyond human physical capability. He went forth first, to make a clear, safe path for the other troops. His massive shield made good use when hacking down limbs. Since it was rather light weight, it did not seem to slow the man down. From there he trudged along into the daring & sinister jungle. He kept his senses on high alert for any sign of movement or danger. They were about a hundred or so yards away from the rover they were heading & moved along swiftly. "Keep a sharp eye, men. Any shadow that looks unfriendly, you shoot it." he told them.

Kane looks and sees his men standing their and he yells "Do you have no respect for your leader, kneel down"! Kane's men quickly get down on one knee and lower their heads and weapons in respect. "Better, but I won't remind you next time...because if it happens again, I will drop every one of you in the valley and let you die from the Giganotosaurus" says Kane. "I see that you will be the great leader of this team one day, Kane" says Alcatraz. "But there are many people that want us dead, so we must stick together".

Burt salutes as Rogers left with a few men to set up the perimeter as he continues to set up the camp, checking all his weapons. Even his favorite he calls his "Grizlly Big Boy." He checks the barrels of the guns & inspects theme. To him, you can never go anywhere without ammunition.

The super solider trudged on through the forests of the jungle with his squadron of men. Heading towards the river that sat about a hundred yards away. He made his way through to set a path for his men, dashing & sprinting through the paths, lunged over obstacles, & swung through the air & over braches & vines. Indeed, he was a natural born athlete with physical capabilities far beyond any Olympic champion. He owed this to a secret he keot in his very body. In his very vessels. A special, enhancing serum flowed in his veins. One that had been passed down to him from birth & a trait claimed from his ancestor- The great Steve Rogers: The First Captain American of WW2. Known simply as the "Super Soldier" serum. This is what grants him such amazing feats & capabilities & is the perfect recruit for such a mission. He paused for a moment ontop of one of the branches he had landed on to scout ahead. His senses were on the highest alert. Nothing threatening was in his sight.....Yet. But even he knew there was more this jungle had to offer & he had yet confront his very first dinosaurs. "Keep moving men." he then said to his men before moving on once more.

Hidden nearby, Cortex observed the conversation between Alcatraz and Kane. Tyranical, indeed, that was Kane. Seeing his cruelty and amorality, Cortex began to feel bitter with him, since his Leo courage wasn't giving him peace. With a slight smirk, he listened on. To come between the two, he had to come up with one whale of a plan! So far, he stays put and listens.

Leaping from log to log & from branch to branch, swinging from one vine to another, Rogers made his way through the dense forests swiftly & silently while creating a path & trail for the other troops to follow. He swung from another vine & landed on his feet upon the ground. He then looked & noticed the river was now at least a few yards away. He stood there for a moment while the air was quiet & raised his shield up towards his men to halt them. From there he stood there with complete silence. Making sure that the only sound he heard was the wind passing by. He looked around at the nearby forests, listening for any sign of danger or suspicion. He didn't want to be caught off his guard by anyone or anything. But alas, everything was calm for the moment. No danger in sight. He placed his shield back down & turned to his men once more. "Start up a perimeter boys." he told them as he stood on watch duty.

As Rogers & his men set up a perimeter around the base camp, Gummer & his men are done setting up camp. Gummer himself is doing some targt practice on some rocks with a silent rifle, one that shoots a bullet, but barelly create a sound when fired. A perfect weapon to use against any enemy that Roland Kane may not notice, until it is too late!

The men soon began to set up a secure perimeter around the river side. Each men began to place up sentries & spy cams so the men back at camp would get their first glimpse at a possible threat approaching. each trooper began to spread out to different points to keep a look out. While Nathanial Rogers himself kept a lookout for them as well. Standing ontop of a boulder to gain some height & to look over the surroundings nearby. For the moment, nothing was about. There seemed to be no threat as of yet. But for all he knew, that could immediately change in the flip of a dime.

While Alcatraz and Kane continue their conversation, there is another presence nearby. That presence is Alcatraz's deadly infantry killer; Brumak the Shaochilong. He is searching the area for any other dinosaurs that could pose a threat to Alcatraz or the others. However, as his night-vision eyes scan the dark forest, he happens to spot something...a cluster of small lights nearby, hidden among the foliage. These lights are coming for a group of androids that lurk nearby. With a growl, Brumak silently wanders behind them before stalking up towards them. As he observes the group of unaware droids, he notices a strange man at the center of the droid group. With this, he then quickly roars into the air...this alerts Alcatraz to the awareness that something isn't right. "Kane" says Alcatraz. Kane and his men draw their weapons and they look around. Brumak the swiftly flings his head and knocks some of the droids away before running off towards Alcatraz.

At that very same time, back with Roger's & the small squadron of troops, the very same roar came into their ears. They heard something roaring in the forest, unaware of what it may be & having no idea that it is in fact a dinosaur belonging to the enemy. Rogers swiftly turned around toward the direction of such a definite sound. As did the other men. Judging by the echo of the cry, Rogers could tell that whatever made such a noise, it probably was not too far away from the area. He stood guard & kept watch of anything that would happen next.
"W-W-What was that?" one of the men asked the super soldier. "Not too sure.....Whatever it is, it sounds mean...& hungry."

Gummer & his group of men had too heard the roar, it was faint, but they still could hear it, "Hm, a predator seems nearby, huh?" Gummer says to himself as he finishes his target practice & reloads his gun. Some of Gummer's other men heard the roar, too & became concerned of Rogers & his men. But Gummer knows Rogers too well, knowing he can have things taken care of if something were to happen.

Back near Burt's campsite, something is walking in the darkness. A large bodied animal snaps branches from trees and crushes already fallen branches underfoot. A bluish body, a large beak, and many horns on its face with some on the frill as well. It is a herbivore, but among the most dangerous in this land; an old male Pachyrhinosaurus Perotorum.

He is blind in his right eye, but he is very easily angered by any sound or smell that comes across him. He walks half-blindingly towards Burt's camp, searching for a place to get rest after being defeated by a young male that took over his herd.

After the echoing roar had faded, the forest once more went quiet for a second. Rogers stood there with sharp eyes & ears to see what was out there. But even he couldn't see through the dense forest completely. Puzzled, he had no idea what else to expect in such a forbidden place. But with the possible danger passed, he turned back to his squadron. "Back to your post men....I don't think it's coming near us." he told them before he himself went to lookout duty. The men gave him a salute & soon went back to set the secure perimeter.

Seeing that the predator was nowhere near, Gummer & his men soon finished setting up camp. They soon prepared to stay in their tents for the night, unaware of another possible danger nearby.

The men with Rogers kept their guard Each one armed with high powered weapons. One had an automatic shotgun, another with a flamethrower, one with a rocket launcher & finally, a SAW Machine Gun. & yet Rogers stood with his men with only a small pistol as his means of firepower & a single shield as a means of defense & offense. But he didn't let this bother him at all. He was virtually a one man army when it came to combat. He very rarely used any means of firearms, even his own pistol he carried with him. But for the moment, he knew his mean were armed with efficient fire power to detour any threat that would come near. He kept on lookout, observing the territory surrounding them. But completely unaware of the threat that now surrounds the campsite!

Hearing a roa of a predator and then noticing him, Cortex then thought quickly and then oredered a retreat into the forest foliage. He fired a few mock shots toward the carnivore. These are quiet and rapid, and do not give away the shooter's position.

Alcatraz and Kane know that something is up; Brumak has returned unscathed and looks ready for a fight. "All of you stay here" says Kane to his men. "Brumak...lead us toward them" says Alcatraz as he arms himself with two combat knifes before Kane, Alcatraz, Brumak, and Lurtz head on to find out how is intruding in the area.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The male Pachyrhinosaurus then spots bright coloration in his good eye. He freezes and tries to make out what it is, which is a campfire in the middle of Burt's campsite. He snorts and begins to get agitated, seeing the fire as a threat.

Keeping a watchful eye upon the jungles around them, Rogers kept on guard & sharpened his senses to their fullest capability. He didn't dare miss anything or let anything surprise them. The men made the final preparations for their perimeter, placing the last sentries up & online. But totally unaware that danger was now surrounding the camp site!

Luckily, Cortex and his droids have retreated far enough from their original spot and have headed away quietly, therefore, they will not find them. Still, Cortex knows that they will begin to search the forest and so, they must stay on the move, as well as keep an eye on the landscape.

"Sir, the last sentries up. The perimeter is set. No sign of danger anywhere. But the sentries & cams we got set up will alert us back in base should anything come our way from here." a soldier soon said to Rogers with a salute. As the super soldier turned to his men with a nod from his head in approval. Acknowledging their efforts. "Good work men. Lets head back to camp." Rogers then replied as he & the rest of the men prepared to head their way back to the camp sight.

Enter- "the War Machine!

Gummer remained where he was. After checking his ammo in his weapons, he soon went to his tent, where he was met by a man, "Excuse me, sir? Shall I survey the area?" he says as he followed Gummer. "Yes, it would seem we'll need an extra pair of eyes to look out the area while we're asleep. Alright, you can go lueitenant." he says.
"Thank you, sir." the man says with a salute & heads for his tent. He soon entered his tent & prepared to go & survey the area, where as he has a special way of doing it, thanks to a good friend of his. This was the friend of Anthony Stark. This was James Rhodes- aka "The War Machine!

After the perimeter had finally been set & established for Gummer & his team, Rogers soon began to lead his squadron back to the camp site. They headed back through the very same trail that Rogers had made for them when they came to the river to set up their perimeter. But nonetheless, Rogers stood on his guard. He knew that even down the same path one could go, danger could be so mysterious & anything could pop out at any moment if he was not on his feet.

James, or called "Rhodey" from Stark, entered his tent as he looked at a black, metal suitcase. But this was no ordinary suitcase as he knows. He grabs it & he soon contacts the intelegence that Stark has given to him in the form of what seemed like a PDA, "JARVIS, I need you to prepare the 'War Machine' suit." he says.

At that moment, the sound & voice of Stark's artificial intelligence, JARVIS, was soon heard, activating on Rhodey's command. "-> VERY WELL SIR. ARMOR SYSTEM'S ACTIVATING NOW. STAND BY.<-" the computer said to him.
Outside the tent & the camp itself, Rogers meanwhile was leading his troops back through the path they had gone through before. After a few minutes of tracking their path & following where they had left before, they finally reach the campsite once again & not a moment to soon. They had luckily met no obstacles or threats on the way back or while setting the perimeter up. But Rogers himself wont forget the roar that he had heard earlier. From that very moment he has been on his guard since. He returns to the camp with his squadron after a successful mission.
