Name: HYDRA
Type of Organization: Former Science Division for the Nazi's/ Terrorist organization

History:
The organization of HYDRA, who's name was inspired by the mythical monster of the same name, was created during WWII in 1941 as the Science Division of the Nazi's. The founder of the organization, Johann Schmidt, was one of Adolf Hitler's closest advisors & thus was given permission to lead the division as Supreme Commander. It was here were the legacy of the dreaded Red Skull was born, as a creation of Adolf Hitler himself to be the Nazi's most powerful & feared force. To the point where even Hitler himself began to fear him. Under command of Johann Schmidt & with the help of the Nazi scientist, Baron Hemlut Zemo, HYDRA thrived as a feared & powerful force of the Axis powers. Their terror spread across every corner of Europe.
As the science division of the Nazi's, HYDRA helped spawn some of the most lethal & advanced weapons technology of the era & at the time. From firearms development, to vehicles & even lethal chemical warfare. It helped enhance the technology & warefare of Nazi Germany & was very close to winning the war for them.
However, Johann Schmidt began to see a different path for HYDRA & although he believed in Hitler's ideals, he had a different vision of a new world order. He preposed that HYDRA could no longer live under the shadow of Hitler & the Nazi's. & thus, after executing Nazi commander's & officers, Schmidt declared HYDRA as a separate branch & organization. No longer would they be affiliated with the Nazi's.
Towards the end of the war, however, HYDRA met their defeat in the hands of the allied forces & their symbol of freedom for all the peoples of earth- Steven Rogers, the original Captain America. The Red Skull had met his defeat & thus was te downfall for HYDRA, as did Hemlut Zemo. But without sacrifice of course, as Rogers met his end during battle as well at the end of the war, only to be revived nearly 70 years later after suspended animation.
Thus ended the golden era of HYDRA & WWII. The organization remained low & kept itself out of sight for several decades. Under the supervision of only a selective few that were elected leaders of the organization. Operating only with high weapons-arms dealing & selling them to the black market.
But eventually, HYDRA rose to power once again & under the leadership of an evil equal to the very founder of the organization. The very descendant of Johann Schmidt himself- Friedrich Schmidt, the New Red Skull!
Under the new leadership, HYDRA at last rose from hiding & emerged as powerful as ever, as they were during WWII. With Friedrich Schmidt's new leadership came new members of the organization with more suffisticated roles & ranks. Some of the first to join Schmidt was Baron Wolfgang Von Strucker, A former Neo-Nazi general. Strucker was appointed to become the organizations Commanding General & Schmidt's second in command. The second member was, surprisingly, another descendent of the organizations founder- the villainous scientist & conqueror, Baron Heinrich Zemo, the descendant of Hemlut Zemo. Although Zemo agreed to become the head of HYDRA's science division, he vowed that he would remain souly separate from the ranks to focus more upon his more personal goals & experiments. Which the Red Skull respected.
Some of the latest members of the organization include Strucker's second in command & personal Lieutenant; Viper, or Madame Hydra. Her history proved to be an excellent asset to the organization & thus the Red Skull personally gave her the privilage to join their ranks, Her cold-hearted soul & reputation is known by all amongst the members.
Another member to arrive was the head scientist of HYDRA- Dr. Arnim Zola. Who was personally brought in, once again, by the Red Skull. After seeing the potential in the doctor's incredible experiments & work previous before joinging.
The last member to join amongst the ranks of HYDRA was an assassin suggested by Baron Strucker- the villain known as "The Grim Reaper." HYDRA saw much potential in the assassin & thus brought him into their ranks as HDYRA's means of assassinations & one of Baron Strucker's commanding officers.
For a while, HYDRA made it's reputation once more as an even more powerful terrorist organization then before & primarily focused on weapons development & technological enhancements. Even if it meant stealing from other sources & enhancing them further. & thus was the beginning of the planning for what is currently know as "Project-Tesseract." The soon-to-be ultimate souce of power for HYDRA.
In the modern-era , HYDRA has grown back to it's former ruts & their power & terror has spread world wide. To this day, HYDRA has proven to be the most feared organization in the world. Their power, their reputation, exc. are known throughout every corner of the planet. Under the leadership of Friedrich Schmidt, the organization has become more wide-spread then every before. With numerous bases & factories scattered across the world. For the Red Skull now aims to accomplish his goals more strongly then ever before. To accomplish feats the likes of past rulers, dictator's & leaders, have never hoped to gain. To accomplish what the likes of even the Nazi's & Adolf Hitler....Could not.
However, many things changed when the dinosaur reinassance began. The organization soon began to see new heights in their enhancements in technology & their forces. Especially Friedrich Schmidt, believing that HYDRA could not only make the perfect world order & perfect human being, but "the Perfect Saurians" as well.
So, with the aid of Baron Zemo & Dr. Arnim Zola, the organizations science division began to produce & develop their very own dinosaurs. To serve as their war machines & methods of battle. But local intelligence is suggesting that the Red Skull may have some other plans in mind for the production of their dinosaurs. It is possible that HYDRA is beginning to perform mad experiments with the dinosaur genes & DNA. It is very well possible that HYDRA may be on the way to developing the most terrifying force of creatures the world may ever see...

History: Founded in 2140 by Albert Wesker in New York City. For 14 years, Umbrella ran smoothly and well-organized, under Wesker's guiding hand. It cloned various types of organisms, starting with animals, both extinct and modern. It moved onto cloning plants, creating medication and serums.
