The Diplomatic Meeting

"Oh Von Bardas........One thing you will have to learn & understand- is never say never." Cornelius soon simply said & with that, he took another sip of his glass. "But- in spite of that, there is one possible issue BOTH of our countries could very well be facing. Latveria more then any."

"Oh? & what might THAT be?" Lucia says with crossed arms again.

"Simple." Cornelius soon said to Lucia once more before he placed his cybernetic hand out. From there he pressed a button that was installed there & from the very palm of his hand, a hologram was displayed, showing her a part of the world map along with other images. From what Lucia could see, it was the map of Russia along with the Russian flag. From there, "Claw" simply let the information get to her mind before saying: ".....Russia."

"Ahh yes. Russia has been giving us some....problems if you would say." Lucia says in agreement to "Claw."

"Indeed. & primarily OUR country." Cornelius soon said as well. "But Im afraid that is not all." he then said before displaying another image of another country. This time, it was another country similar to Russia. As in the fact it was another country they had defeated in war before- China.
"China has also been giving the Central European Empire some concerns lately. Both countries are becoming uneasy these days & the likely hood of them becoming hostile upon our case is more then likely."

"I see." Lucia simply says as she watched "Claw" show her China & explained to her on it.

"No doubt these two countries are seeking to have their "honor" taken back. & theres no doubt to say that they may very well form an alliance against th Central European Empire one day. But there is a problem with that......Should that come to be, Latveria will be in the middle of the warzone. & I highly doubt either countries will care if you are in the way.....The arrogant fools. All they have left is their system of honor.....Its truly sad." Cornelius soon explained.

Lucia says nothing else as she had to agree to "Claw."

"I don't think I need to tell you what could happen should Latveria become involved with anything between us & the other countries. & Latveria is just as important to us in terms of trading goods as we are to you. That is why, in such scenarios, The Central European Empire is willing to lend it's support to Latveria in the time of need." Cornelius soon said as well.

"That maybe true, but my master will make SURE this country won't get involved in any war wirh China or Russia against the Central European Empire. As long as he stands." Lucia says.

"Im not sure if you seem to understand, Von Bardas. Your government itself doesn't have to get involved by itself. What Im saying is that should these countries turn hostile, they will not be hesitant to make any country that gets in their move aside. By either word or force. They themselves may throw the gauntlet down upon you. & being Latveria's neighboring country, we cannot let that happen. That is why we are offering Latveria with protection from the Fatherland. Because loosing Latveria could mean trouble for our countries trading routes.......& you may need us as much as we need Latveria standing." Cornelius soon said. "& there is no catch. There is no bargain that is to be made from this. I will not force anything such as your country joining the Empire's expanding nation. I alone wont force that.......That will be decided for another time.

"Indeed. But I'm very confident we will make that decison on our own." Lucia says as she looked on at Cornelius & his represenatives.

"& I am as confident as you are Von Bardas." Cornelius soon said as well. As his other representatives nodded their heads as well. "I am sure you & Von Doom will make your decision soon. I have no doubt about that.....& neither does my master."

"& I'm sure we WON'T make our decision, soon." Lucia replied as she looked on at "Claw."

"Oh? Well then, that is unfortunate for you then. I would suggest you & Von Doom consider this matter then. & I WOULD consider making it soon...." Cornelius soon began to say to Lucia before he stood up along with his representatives. ".....Before WE do it for you."

Lucia merely said nothing else as she remained seated with her arms crossed as "Claw" stood up from his seat.

"With that said.....This meeting has been concluded." Cornelius soon said to Lucia while he stood up, along with his other representatives. "We thank you for your cooperation & your time, Von Bardas. This meeting was vitally important & Im pleased we were able to have it....Even with some minor interferences."

"Yes, even I had to agree, but that trouble is behind us, now." Lucia says again with her arms crossed, still.

"Indeed." Cornelius replied before he turned to his other representatives, who were all ready to make their leave. Soon, he himself was about to be escorted out of the castle by her & the other servants. "Claw" began to walk off down the hall once more & began to head out the massive doors of the castle.

Lucia remained where she was with Watcher standing right beside her as she watches "Claw" & his represenatives leaving the castle.

Standing outside was his battalion of black suited soldiers. All whom were standing outside & waiting for "Claw" after the incident with Croc. The very moment they saw "Claw" in their presence, they stomped their feet & raised their fist clenched arms in complete unison! "HAIL!!!" They all shouted, as "Claw" raised his own arms at them as well in a form of salute, making them place their arms back down. One soldier soon marched to "Claw" with his horse from before & thus Cornelius began to mount it.

Lucia stood by the door with Watcher standing beside her with arms crossed as "Claw" mounted his horse.

After mounting his horse, "Claw" finally turned to Lucia once more before he & his representatives would leave. "Again, the Central European Empire thanks Latveria for this important meeting. We hope to have more cooperation like this in the future."

"In that case I shall be waiting more more of these kinds of meetings in the future, Claw." Lucia says.

"Very well then." Cornelius soon said back to Lucia. Then, he began to ride off with his horse, & was ready to head back from whence they came. "Until our next meeting." he said to Lucia one last time before he happened to turn to her once more. "One last thing, though.......Next time......I wish to actually see Von Doom in Person." He said, which suddenly brought much shock & much surprise to Lucia for him saying this! It seemed that he himself knew that the Doom here was nothing more then a robot! But how he knew.....Was a mystery! "Claw" soon began to ride off with his representatives & his soldiers as he threw an arm up in salute! "Long live the Empire! Long live Lord Mayhem!" he cried! As the soldiers all saluted as well & thus began to march off in complete unison, leaving the city of Latveria to return home. "HAIL MAYHEM!!! SIEG HAIL!!!!" They all shouted together & thus began to sing their marching song once again as they left.
