The Return of the King

After a 30 minute flight from the International Dinosaur Arena & after the 1st day of the JFC tournament, the shuttle of Doctor Curt Von Doom had returned back to the Latverian Embassy, a structure that was designed & possiblly built by the great Victor Von Doom of before. The shuttle had landed on the roof of the tall building where Doom's personal mansion & HQ are located. There, the doors of the shuttle open & steam poured out of the vessel, like in a Star Wars film. Lines of guards come out & made a pathway for Doom to emerge out of the shuttle. The king walked out & headed inside, with his loyal servant, Boris, right beside of him.

Boris followed close behind his King & master. Upon arriving to the embassy, he could already feel a different environment around them A different scent & a different scenery around him. Here, everything smelled, looked & felt more pure then the typical New York lifestyle. As if there was a wall built between the two leading to a completely different place. A major contrast between on space & another & even seemed like they were back in Latveria. The old servant soon took in a deep breath of the fresh around them & inside. "Ahhh, it reminds me much of home." he then said.

"Indeed it does, my old friend." Doom says as they had entered inside. "The 1st day of the tournament went rather well, dispite what happened earlier today. I'd say Devil had done a wonderfull job with his opponent, remind me to reward him when they get here, Boris. Though one dinosaur does strike an interest to me. The Tyrannosaur that was named 'Death'." he says as he sat down on his throne.

"It will be done, Master Curt." Boris replied to Doom, acknowledging that Devil will surely be rewarded later. "Yes that "Death" we saw was rather interesting. The other dinosaurs certainly seemed to fight rather well. I had a liking to Ms.Ororo's Ceratosaur." he then stated as they walked along inside the Embassy.

"Yes, the one named 'Caedus'. I got only glimpses of that match."Doom says as he pushed a button, "Computer, bring up the files of all the dinosaurs & who they belonged too." he says a a hologram of every dinosaur that has been in the tournament. Death, Steel, Devil, Caedus, Shira, & a few others. "Zoom on on that first one." he says again & the com[uter zoomed in on Death. The files brought up that this was a very well trained rex, healthy & such. One that could provide use to his knowledge. As he drank the drink he had in his goblet, he saw who owned Death, James! The very recognization of James names made Doom's eyes widen a little. In his eyes, even Boris could tell, he was a little ticked. He soon crushed the goblet he had his drink in, causing it to spill on the floor. But he soon calmed & looked on, "I've should've known James owned that Tyrannosaur." he says leaned back in a plotting pose, with both his hands together, looking on. With a push of the button, he turned the computer off. He held his hand up, "Boris, I'd like a moment alone if you please." he simply said.

O.O Boris seemed to be a little caught by surprise at the moment. He knew that Doom had suddenly gone angry about something. But of course he respected his privacy & his need to be alone at times. So, after he cleaned up the mess Doom had made, he said nothing more but gave a nod of his head & soon, he silently & slowly walked out of the room to leave his master be for a moment.

After Boris had left, Doom was soon left alone with his thoughts, memoeries, & anything he remembered on that fatteful day when the lab of the college he & James went to exploded, causing his face to burn. He sat on his throne as he stared out into what seemed like an abyss of nothing, but he sat on with thoughts running through his mind, gripping the arms of the throne as he was deedp in thougt & memory.

Boris meanwhile decided to tend to the Embassy to make sure things were clean & tidied up. So he turned his attention to the book shelves & the displays shown & began to dust them off. Throughout this time, he to began to have thoughts on his mind. He remembered a time in his life when Curt was......Not like this. When he wasn't mad or vengeful. But a time when he was sweet & a lovable boy. He never could have thought that his own master could turn so diabolical.......Much like his older cousin. But other thoughts soon came to mind as well. For one case, a particular person they met a while ago- Wanda. The lady seemed rather nice & harming. In fact, he could safely say they both thought she was very beautiful. But he would never forget the day they first met. The day when hey introduced one another not so warmly. He wondered if they would ever see her again.

Doom remained on his throne & in deep thought. Another memory was when he first met Wanda & Angela. Remembering how the plan to capture Wanda's Velociraptor, White Tip, failed. But ever since that day, it had seemed that Wanda's over all beuty seemed to calmed his mind & soul. Remembering how charming she was, even though he tried to capture White Tip. Wanda always reminded him of his own mother, who was executed long ago for being beleived as a sorcerer. Doom turned his head to look out the window. Even though he is now calmed down from the memory of Wanda.

Soon, the massive deleivery trucks came rolling in. Each one held the 3 dinosaurs Doom had owned. They were soon released in each of their pens.

With the thoughts in mind, Boris soon just had a deep sigh to himself & merely worked along at what he did best. He worked throughout the Embassy to make sure things were clean & taken care of. Including the displays, the shelves & even the paintings. It was here, in the hall of paintings, where Boris felt at peace the most. One painting in particular made him sigh once more with great feeling & that was one that was dedicated to Doom's mother: an actual painting of her. He merely gazed upon the portrait of her & couldn't help but to sigh once more with memories inside. ">Sigh< What would you do, madam?.......What would you do?" he simply asked himself.

Inside his eclosure that resembled the late Cretaceous plains of Montana, Devil Dinosaur was released in his pen, taking a walk around, knowing it was feeding time for him. But he noticed that no one was at the food despencer that despences the food Devil loved to eat. To call someone, he gave out a loud roar that got Boris's attention.

Hearing his tyrranosaur, Doom got up & walked to the balcony that overlooked Devil's enclosure. He smiled under his mask, knowing he had done a good job in today's fight. With the thought of Devil's award in mind, he turned & began to head hs way toward the enclosure.

Boris immediately heard the call from Devil & knowing it was time to feed him & get him his meal. He rushed himself a bit so he wouldn't keep the animal waiting but the whole time he chuckled to himself. "Hmhm, clever boy." he said to himself. A she prepared a meal for the Tyrannosaur & then began to head down to the enclosures with some guards.

Devil stood in the middle of his enclosure & waited as he soon sw Boris & some guards walking out toward his cage fencing. He did nothing as he stood there.

"Alright men, you know the drill. Prepare the food & the cage." Boris soon said to the other guards who took their commands & proceeded as usual. A few men were stationed near the enclosure so that the food could be safely transported inside. While a few other men prepared Devil's meal- Cow meat. The massive carcass was soon placed on a carrier & hooks as it was slowly lifted into the air. "Alright, open the gate!" Boris soon called out. As the cage from above was soon opened so that the meat could be carried inside & placed for Devil to finally eat.

"That won't be nessecary men." Doom says as he walked out. He had calmed down a little after his time alone. "Take that carcass out. Prepare to release LIVE prey in Devil's enclosure. Prepare an Edmontosaurus for him......he deserves it." he says with his arms crossed as he had an adult Edmontosaurus enclosure nearby for display.

The guards, without question saluted & nodded, as they soon took the carcass out of the enclosure to do as they were instructed to do. They began heading for another part of the enclosure that would release another animal inside. Where the Edmontosaur was. Boris meanwhile watched beside Doom as the men prepared to release the dinosaur to Devil & soon turned to Doom himself. "Was your moment alone relieving, Curt?" he asked,

Doom looked on as Boris asked him this. He nodded, "Yes it was." he says as the gate soon opened as they soon saw the adult Edmontosaurus entering the enclosure. Devil saw this & hid in the nearby cover of the trees, to avoid being seen by the Edmontosaurus.

"Well that's good." Boris soon replied back to Doom. As he soon saw the Edmontosaur being released in the enclosure with Devil. He watched on next to his master as the Tyrannosaur began to hunt his prey. Using the cover of the trees to help him be unnoticed. "I do say, Master Curt, how does a red dinosaur become so hidden in a green forest?" he then asked.

"It all depends on how thick the cover of the trees are for Devil to hunt in his domain, Boris." Doom says. Devil looked on as he stalked his prey. The hadosaur looked on as he knew something wasn't right. He smells the air, but thanks to the wind, he is unable to smell Devil. This was good for the massive red Tyrannosaur, he looks on as his eyes locked on his target & waited for the Edmontosaurus to get close enough & make a fatal mistake. Soon, as the herbivore was close enough, Devil exploded from the trees, rushing at the Edmontosaurus. The herbivore roars out in suprise as it tried to book it. But it was soon caught by the jaws of the Rex. Devil uses his sheer power to pin down the herbivore by the neck. The last cries of the suffering hadrosaur are soon ended with what sounded like a tree branch snapping as the bones were crushed. The hadrosaur was now dead & Devil was soon free to feast, pulling chunks of flesh out & eating them.

O~O "Oh dear." Boris soon said to himself while watching the hunt commence & the carnage happening before his eyes. He had the goosebumps for but a moment when the kill was made but they soon left afterwards. "Well, before more bloodshed gets me dizzy, Im heading off to do some more cleaning. This place needs tidied up." he soon said & thus slowly began to walk off to resume his usual.

Doom nodded as Boris said this, turning back to Devil, watching him eat his kill. He soon walked off to check on the other dinosaurs he had, next up was Terror, a full grown male Spinosaurus.

Once more, after returning to the main floor of the Embassy, Boris went back to cleaning the halls & the displays throughout the museum. A chore in which he is use to doing all on his own & by himself. But of course, he didn't mind. He's been at this kind of work for years & such chores build upon a person after a while. Its become part of his life style & a life style he personally doesn't mind. He began dusting the shelves & the displays once more & eventually began scrubbing & cleaning the windows.

After visiting his dinosaurs, Terror the Spinosaurus & Taurus the Carnotaurus, Doom returned to the Embassy once more. He began walking around the meuseum part of the Embassy, looking at all the paintings & dinosaur skeleton displays. Soon, he went down to the bowels of the Embassy, where his labs were located. He approached one of his inventions, the Dino-Bots with a smile, knowing one day, he would finish one & test it out. But now, a few tweaks here & there were being done.

Boris meanwhile continued his daily business & chores as usual. Cleaning the shelves, the windows, the displays, the artifacts & the paintings. He wouldn't miss a single spot. He wouldn't stop until the Embassy was left spotless & clean. Though his work was slow, he worked as efficient as he could.

Doom soon walked up to a mirror & looked at himself. Thinking of the past, when he ordered the hot metal mask to be placed directlly on his face when it was tooken out. But more memory was the college accident when the lab exploded. He sighs as he does something he rarelly does, he reaches his hands up to where his mask is. Soon, he actually takes it off & looks at his bare face in the mirror, growling to himself lightlly as he looks on, holding his mask.
