The Return of the King

Doom continued to his throne room, not able to hear Boris as he was out of range of hearing. He soon reaches it & heads out on the balcony to get some fresh air & t take his minds off of things for a while.

Following Doom into the throne room & out in the balcony, Boris simply stood by the door & watched his master get some fresh air. At the moment he didn't know what to do for him. All he could do was just let him have a moment alone & just hope for the best. Even when he wished there was something he could do for him. Soon though, he decided to take action & approached him. Patting his back from behind. "What has gotten you down, Curt?" he asked.

Doom looked out in the city as he took in the fresh breath of air through hid mask vents. The wind blowing against him, making his long, green cape flow in the wibd. He soon felt the pat on his back & heard Boris from behind, "Oh..........nothing's wrong my old friend." he says.

"Curt, lad, I know something is on your mind." Boris said as he soon stood before Doom himself. Looking on with a concerned expression upon his old aged face. Not a face of a servant. But one of an old friend. A fatherly figure. "Come now lad. Tell me what troubles you." he then said. As he was among the very few people on the face of the planet to ever approach the great Doctor Doom in such a manner.

"Hmhmhm, you sure can tell when I'm not myself, huh? >sigh< Alright, I've been bothered with troublesome memories for a while, that's all." Doom says to Boris as he looks on out at the city as he knows Boris is a good friend more than just a servent, he knows that.

">Sigh< I see. I could tell for a moment." Boris replied as he continued to stand before Doom, looking out into the city with his old friend. "Do you wish to speak about them?" he then asked. Wondering if he could cheer him up for a minute or two by discussing his problems.

But alas, Doom shook his head no, "No, maybe some other time, Boris." he says as he continues to look out in the city.

"Are you sure Curt?" Boris then asked while rubbing his poor shoulders. "You just seem to be holding too many things inside you lately. Im afraid you might.....Burst someday. Lad, you've gotten me concerned lately." he then stated.

"I'll be alright, Boris........I'll be alright." Doom says as he turned to Boris & patted his shoulder before returning back to his watch over the city.

">Sigh< Alright Curt....If you say so." Boris soon said as he watched Doom head back inside. He turned back around for a moment to look on at the city. But soon, just before Doom went any further, Boris then said: "Someday lad......Maybe not now.......But someday..........You'll have to face your problems.........But I'll be here if you need me."

Doom nodded as he went back inside, knowing if anyone could help him during his biggest problems, it was Boris. Now, he didn't need Boris as he wasn't too emotionally bad. He returns to his throne room & sat down, going to watch the rest of the matches at the Arena, "Computer, bring up the cameras facing the International Dinosaur Arena." he says & the screens pop up & from there, he sees the current battle about to take place, a Triceratops & a Torvosaurus. He looks on with his hands together, waiting to see who will win the struggle.

After his discussion with Doom, Boris soon went back inside the Embassy once more to resume his usual & to get back at his chores. He went back into the halls of the Embassy to clean the displays, the artifacts, the shelves & much, much more.

As Doom remained on his throne to watch the battle at hand, Devil finishes eating the fresh Edmontosaurus he was rewarded. After eating his fill, the massive red tyrannosaur walked over to the center of the enclosure where the water s & drinks from it.

As he cleaned the Embassy, Boris soon began to begin more cleaning at the upper level of the building. Where more museum displays were seen & needed cleaning. Including a showcase of dinosaur bones & several dinosaur exhibits. But without even the slightest complaint, Boris proceeded forth to do his chores. With a duster & a tall ladder, he proceeded to clean the massive skeletons first. From the top of a Stegosaur's plate to the very heights of a forty foot tall Brachiosaur mount.

After drinking the water he had in his enclosure, Devil soon went to a shadey spot of his enclosure to lie down & rest for a little while.

After several more minutes of cleaning the museums & the exhibits, Boris soon proceeded down to the enclosures where Doom's dinosaurs resided. There he saw Devil lying down to rest & proceeded to tidy up the enclosures as well.

Devil lifted his head up & saw Boris entering his territory. He looks on at him as he cleans his enclosure, keeping an eye on Boris.

Boris soon began to clean the enclosures of the dinosaurs The first up for cleaning was Devil. He proceeded in entering his enclosure quietly & slowly, so he wouldn't alarm the massive dinosaur. "Don't fret, boy. Its just me." he calmly said to the dinosaur, proceeding with his cleaning as usual.

Devil did nothing as he saw Boris entering & cleaning his enclosure. Not a growl or sound was made.

"Theeeeeere, atta boy. lad." Boris soon began to say as he continued cleaning Devil's enclosure.

Devil looked on as he saw Boris cleaned on at his enclosure. He soon lays his head down to rest for a while.

Boris chuckled, seeing the dinosaur laying down to rest. His cleaning soon brought him a little closer to Devil himself & as he got closer, he then smiled & patted his master's dinosaur on the nose before cleaning once more.

Devil opened his eyes when he felt Boris petting him on the nose. After that, he closes his eyes again to rest, making a loud breathing sound as he took a breath, almost sounding like an alligator.

"Hmhmhm, good boy." Boris said with a good chuckle as he soon resumed cleaning the enclosure once more. After such, he slowly began to head his way toward the other enclosures before stopping & turning back to Devil with something to give him. Reaching for his pocket. "Hmhm, here you go." he said, revealing a small treat for the dinosaur & tossed it toward his head before heading out.

O.o Devil looked on confused as Boris tossed him the treat, never seeing this before. But it smelled good to him as he ate it before laying back down.
The next enclosure Boris headed to was a swamp theme. In the middle was a small pool of water.
