The Return of the King

After cleaning most of the Embassy, Boris moved on to cleaning the library, located at the south wing of the museum. There, he began to clean the many books & shelves around the room. After a few minutes & surprisingly less work then he thought, he then moved down to the laboratory to possibly tidy things up. Unaware Doom was there as well.

Doom continued to look upon his scared & disfigured face as he held his mask. Unaware that Broris was making his approach to his laboratory.

Upon arriving, Boris noticed that the lab was operational & the door was wide open. He assumed his master was down here & in the work of something. So, without barging in, he knocked upon the medieval woodened door. "Master Curt? Are you down here?" he then called.

Doom heard Boris knocking on the door & placed his mask back on with a click, turning to where the knocking was, "Yes, Boris. You may enter." he says.

Hearing his master, Boris then began to walk in the laboratory. He was about to say something, about him just arriving to tidy the lab up for him when he noticed Doom was standing before the mirror once more. O.O He couldn't help but to think he was doing. But he had a small hunch & thus approached him. "Master Curt?......Are you feeling alright?" he then asked.

"I am alright, Boris." Doom says as he turned to where the computers that were connected to the Dinobot project & began working on them, making tweaks & such.

">Sigh< Alright.....If you say so." Boris soon replied. Not wanting to question Doom any further to make him frustrated. But he felt rather weak that he is unable to help or reason with Doom sometimes. Feeling that he is unable to reach to his master because he refuses to speak about them. But nevertheless, he did not question him. He merely stood by him & watched him perform his experiments.

Doom had soon finished some tweaking. He approaches a button that the Dino Bot opperates at. Preparing to see if it works properlly.

"Is this the Dino-Bot you discussed earlier about, Curt?" Boris soon said to Doom. Watching him preparing the operation of the Dino-Bot for the first time. Even he wondered if it would work. & if it did, would it would do.

"Yes it is, my old friend, observe." Doom says as he pushes the switch & turns the bot on. The mechanical Baryonyx's eyes flash red as it turne on & does a mechanical roar.

O.O "Oh-! My goodness." Boris soon said. Slightly startled when the mechanical dinosaur awakened before him & his master. Roaring at the two.

Doom looked on as he soon gave a command to the bot, "Dino Bot, walk." he says & the bot took a step off the platform & walked around for a bit, looking around.

Boris stood beside Doom the entire time as he watched the Dino-Bot begin to walk & look around the laboratory. "Gracious me." he said to himself. Looking on at such a specticle.

The Dino Bot walked around for a bitt when it turns to its master, Doom, who looks on with arms crossed, "Very good. Now, return to your post." he says as it returns to where it was & Doom turns it off, "I still need to check & see if any bugs need fixing. Afteerwords, I'll be done with this one." he says.

"I see." Boris replied. Slowly approaching the mechanical beast that his master had created. He began looking on at the Dino-Bot, circling around it & observing all it's features. "Then what will you do?" he then asked Doom.

"For now, I will keep it here & run a few more last checks & teest runs on it. Then it'll be fully operational." Doom says to Boris as he asks him this. Looking back at the bot.

Listening to Doom, Boris soon began to wonder something as he turned back to the robot. He began to wonder if any more of these machines would be created. & if they were, he could only hope he wouldn't use them for what he thought Doom was going to use them for.

"Now, I must return to my studies. If you don't mind, Boris." Doom says as he goes back to his experiments of the day before it ends.

"Oh-! Yes of course." Boris then replied. Respecting his master's privacy as he soon began to make his way out of the laboratory. Upon leaving & shutting the door, the old servant soon began to make his way back up into the main floor of the building to resume his chores once more.

Doom looked on as Boris leaves the labs as he returns to his experiments in the lab. Upon doing so, he stumbles across some old photos. He sometimes don't like to look at the past, but for tis occasion, he picks up the album looks at the photos of his childhood, when he was a young boy, playing with his older cousin, Luther Von Mayhem. But this was before Mayhem's family was threatened.

Upon doing his chores, the memory of Curt's cousin, Luther Von Mayhem, soon came back to Boris as well when he soon saw a certain display & artifact. He came closer to it to get a better look for himself. Inside this display, the artifact was a golden statue about 8 inches tall of a beautiful angel. It was given to Latveria as a token of a past friendship with the vast nation known as the Central European Empire long ago. But time has since taken it's affect upon everyone. Including the statue itself. For it's golden face, the very face of the angel......was cracked. To Boris, this brought a tremendous & depressing sigh. Seeing this one statue being too symbolic of the empire now & Doom's cousin himself.....Ruined.....Scarred.....Just like the statue.

Doom continued to look through the photos of his early childhood. Looking at countless pics of the past. One of them is of his mother & father, as well as Boris in his younger years.

Slightly haunted by the beautiful & yet rather symbolic statue of the angel, Boris moved along & away from the display. Knowing all too well of the fate of Curt's distant cousin, the infamous Luther Von Mayhem. In which now calls himself "Dr. Mayhem." Boris was always haunted by his cousin ever since he was presumed dead many years ago. To him, Mayhem may yet represent all the negative emotion & cruelty he is trying to get his own master away from. The man Curt could very well become should he fall for his own darkest evil.

Doom had continued to look through the photographs. Sooon, a picture of his days in college with James came into veiw, he lookedon with a bit of a angered expression in his eyes, cause the rest of the facail expression is blocked by his mask. Having seen enough, Doom closed the album & threw it back on the shelf before closing his labs for the day, heading out & up to his throne room.

O.O Boris suddenly heard something being thrown & it came from Doom's lab! He turned his head once more to suddenly see Doom himself arriving from his lab & head for his throne room! He then proceeded to follow him to see what was wrong. ".......Curt?" he asked.
