The Lost Region of Australia

Soon enough, Rhodey received an incoming call from his com link. Registering into his armor's systems. Back at camp, Rogers himself was contacting him & began to begin a small scout through the surrounding jungle. "Keep the skies clear, son. I'm scouting ahead through the perimeter."

Mama Scarface listens with her acute hearing for any wanderers that stray too far from the camp. Her strong sense of smell too will also help her on the hunt. She isn't particularly fast due to her larger size compared to other Rexes of the region, but she is by far the strongest predator of the region. A few humans will cause her little trouble being an expert huntress.

"Alright. I'll stay in the air until you're done." Rhodey replied to Rogers as he stayed in the air as he still scanned the area for any danger.

Having Rhodey confirming his watch , Rogers soon proceeded into the jungle. A single man, armed only with his patriotic shield as a means of defense & offense against the threats that lurked in the jungle. The Captain kept his enhanced senses sharp. Both sight & hearing, which making his way slowly & cautiously through the dense brush.

Mama Scarface also has her dark brown skin coloration. This makes her very difficult to spot both day and night whether by prey or unfortunate humans. She rests for now, seemingly confident that she will be more than able to eliminate the intruding humans.

Rhodey continued to scan the area for potential threats to the camp.
Gummer remained where he was, he exited his tent & kept a watch out. Using his binoculars to scan the area with his own eyes.

The captain continued his patrol. Down near the same path in which he lead his small team before to secure the perimeter upon their first hours here in this unforgiving region. Rogers made his way stealthily & quietly through the jungles, so that he would not alert the presence of any nearby & unseen dangers.

The sleeping giant listens carefully for any sounds of potential targets. A wise and cunning predator, she can rip apart nearly anything in her domain, even another Rex isn't safe from her.

Rhodey still stayed to the skies, having JARVIS make scans every 2 minutes. He would do this until Rogers was done.

The jungle around Rogers was rather quiet...Perhaps too quiet. The feeling was undeniable to the Captain. Perhaps there was nothing around. But for all he knew, there was a n even greater threat just around every corner. Perhaps a bigger predator in the forest that was hungry for flesh. He soon began to approach a small stream, & near it was a ledge of rock. He went up, which allowed him to get a good look around his surroundings for a distance. For the moment, all seemed like there was nothing too immediate....But that all immediately changed. Something had suddenly caught the Captain's attention immediately & would even capture the attention of the others in camp.....In the form of a monstrous roar. It was loud & it was sudden. Echoing across the land for miles & causing swarms of birds to fly in panic. It could only have belonged to an animal in which was just as large as any Rex on this island....Perhaps even bigger!

Mama Scarface Lifts her head up after hearing the same roar. She knows what caused the roar, the only other dinosaur that dares to challenge he reign as queen...Big Daddy. This is a larger, male Giganotosaurus who is just as old if not older than she is and he patrols the wastelands which is just short of her territory. But knowing he isn't close by, she resumes her quiet stalking position.

Gummer had lifted his head up when the loud roar echoed in the jungle, "Sounds big....whatever it is." he says to himself with a grip on his rifle.
O.O "Woah!" Rhodey says, hearing the roar, "What was THAT?!"

The roar echoed across the forests far & wide & it was unquestionable as to what it was. It had to have been a massive predator on the prowl. Or at least surveying it's territory. Rogers looked out in the very direction in which the massive cry had come from, watching the swarms of birds flying by after being frightened. The presence of a massive carnivore would present a danger to him & his crew. The Captain knew that they would have to prepare immediately if it was to show up! It left the Captain cautious & greatly concerned with the safety of his team. With that, he radioed in to confirm that he was returning to camp. "This is Rogers to camp.....I'm making my return."

Meanwhile, back at the Wolf Pack base, the group has arrived. The perimeter is carefully guarded by Wolf Pack grunts and machine gun turrets on all four corners. "Home sweet home" says Kane. "Its been awhile since I have seen the place, I see you have added some new equipment, Kane" says Alcatraz. "Recent research and funding has given us some valuable assets for our use" says Kane.

Gummer & Rhodey got Roger's message.
Rhodey returns the call, "What was that, Nathaniel?" he asks.

At the Wolf Pack Base, Sabretooth had arrived with Kane & Alcatraz. He took a look around to see the security in which the base had provided. He even eyed a few of the grunts who took a moment to look at Creed himself! He gave them a snarling grin, growling slightly towards them. He wasn't one who was so easily intimidated by such forces. Being larger then any of the Wolf Pack members, he had little to fear. "Hmph. Not too shabby." Creed soon stated as well.

"I have no idea Rhodes....& I don't intend to stay around & find out. Im returning to camp ASAP. You should to, Rhodes. Finish what your doing & get back here as soon as you can." Rogers soon said back through the com link. With that, he soon began to make his way back down the trail he came. When he suddenly heard the cry of the same Giganotosaurus again, Big Daddy, his pace went much faster. He had no intention of staying in the jungle for another second while knowing a super predator was on the move.

"I know this isn't what you normally rely on Sabertooth, but it will keep any wandering dinosaurs or rival soldiers out of our hair" says Kane. "I know that we all personally like some good old fashion close quarter combat with with a knife or in your case Creed, your claws" says Alcatraz.

"Right. Just one more scan, JARVIS, & we're heading back." Rhodey said to JARVIS as he stayed in the air, "Whatever that was, it sounded close." =/ he then said.

->VERY GOOD, SIR. SCAN IN PROGRESS. STAND BY..<-" JARVIS soon came to reply back to Rhodey, as the artificial intelligence soon made one last sweep & scan of the surrounding area once again. But soon enough, Rhodey's visors began to bleep & flash! As JARVIS had suddenly detected the presence of multiple contacts! Both in which were at a vast distance! One, being the concealed & hidden Tyrannosaur, Scarface & the other, Big Daddy! "->ALERT- MULTIPLE CONTACTS DETECTED.<-"

Hearing Kane, Sabretooth soon came to grin with satisfaction. Like Kane & the Wolpack members, he to enjoyed a good close quarters brawl himself. He kept the same tooth grin before displaying his own clawed hands. "Hmhm, your speaking my language."

Not worried about being found, Mama Scarface remains where see is. In the distance, Big Daddy approaches the nearby river for a fresh drink of water.

O.O Hearing JARVIS, Rhodey asks, "Can you identify them?"

Gummer stood in front of his tent where he was, seeing Rogers returning.

JARVIS began to determine the identity of the two contacts in which Rhodey's scanners had picked up. Soon, two different files & data banks appeared, featuring the possible targets. "->THE TARGETS ARE BOTH OF THEROPOD DESIGN. POSSIBLE MATCHES INCLUDE TYRANNOSAURUS REX & GIGANOTOSAURUS CAROLLINI <-"

Before long, after his short patrol through the jungle, Rogers had returned to the camp. Where he saw Gummer standing & waiting for his arrival.

Big Daddy has had his fill of freshwater while Mama Scarface still lays hidden from view. Big Daddy now turns and begins to return to the center of his turf, knowing that rival theropod's will defend their territory from nearly all comers.

"T-rex & Giganotosaurus, huh? Better go warn the others." Rhodey says as he turns & flies back to base where Rogers & Gummer are.

Arriving at the camp, Rogers soon approached Gummer, who was waiting for him upon his arrival. "Sir, I had to cut my patrol short." he said to Gummer with a quick salute. "There's something big out there...& I feel it wont be long until it gets close."
