Desert home/ The Return of the King

Marik watched as they had come to the door that lead to Cassim's home. Though it was slightlly cold down here, that didn't bother Marik as he had hs cape over him to keep him a little warm.

The door of the entrance was immensely large. Similar to the door in which Cassim entered upon arriving to the temple. Upon it's walls were linings of gems & gold. Decorating the door with their glittering & sparkling appearance. To others, the door would appear to be locked to all outsiders. But only the King of Thieves knew the way in. Upon the door was another decorative piece. IN what appeared to be the head & neck of a serpent with large fangs. Cassim approached this small serpent statue, grabbing it & thus began to turn & move it in a specific order. For this was, infact, the key to the door. A "Door knob" if you will.

Marik watched as Cassim used this fancy door knob-like object. He was always fasinated on how this thing worked.

With the secret key of the door finally used & activated, the very doors of the inner temple began to open before the King of Thieves. Revealing a massive hall. The largest room in all the temple & nearly over seventy five yards. It was pitch black, without a single glimmer of light except Cassim's torch. But soon, he began to approach what appeared to be an aged fountain. A fountain made eons ago by the men who created the temple. Inside this fountain lied not water, but flammable oil. Connected to the fountain was a long stream that ade the oil flow throughout much of the temple. Cassim approached the fountain with his torch & with it, he ignited the oil, causing the oil to ignite & brighten the hall. Streams of flame began to race across the temple hall & at last, light had been given to the immense hall, revealing such a breathtaking sight. Here, inside this very hall, was mountains & treasure troves of gold & other treasures. All of which The King of Thieves has collected for years. It was such a spectacular, & breathtaking sight to see so much treasure. Enough to hunger even the dragons who kept treasure themselves. Even the chair, the personal "Throne" to the King of Thieves, sitting on the top of a massive column of stairs, was carved from pure gold.

Marik looked on as he saw all the treasures that were in the room, then seeing the King of Theive's personal chair.

The King of Thieves had finally entered into his treasure filled home. With chest upon chest stacked with one another & piles of other treasures nearby. He soon placed the two items he had take from the Latverian Embassy down upon a small table. In which held other items very similar to the rod he had. Upon doing that, Cassim, with a deep sigh, soon returned back to his chair & went to sit down after a long journey.

Marik saw this & approached the rod & looked at it. Though it looked different to the rod he has, but he did admire it's beuty. Especially the emerald jewel that was in it.

After a long, tiring journey, Cassim soon went to sit down upon his golden chair, surrounded by his treasures. He sighed deeply, indeed he was extremely tired & just went to sit for a while.

Seeing Cassim sitting down, Marik soon went to look at all the treasures the Knig of Theives has collected.

As he remained seated upon his golden thrown, Cassim merely watched Marik wandering around the treasure troves of his hall & admiring his keepings. Though the thought of his own dinosaurs came to mind. "Have my dinosaurs been taken care of in my absence?" he asked Marik.

"Yes, I've been taken care of them, myself. Though some were difficult to work with. But I managed." X) Marik said with a light chuckle.

"Good. Very good. They concerned me while I was away." The King of Thieves said back to Marik with relief in his voice. "I shall tend to them in a little bit. But now...I must rest."

"Indeed. You deserve rest after your long journey." Marik says as he prepares to leave, "You want anything before I leave?" he asks with Drillago following his master.

"Hmm, perhaps a small drink will suffice for now, child. Thank you." Cassim then replied back to Marik, unknowingly smiling under his blue mask & hood before him.

"Hmhmhm, alright. I'll see what I can come up with." Marik said as he left the room with his Utathraptor following him & thus headed for the nearest place to get Cassim a small drink for him.

With that, Cassim soon awaited for Marik's return upon his golden chair. He sighed heavily to himself & thus began to relax & rest himself. His Archeopteryx, Iago, soon flew towards him to land on his arm. The sight of his loyal pet made him smile & thus began to gently pet the dinosaur's soft blue feathers.

After a few minutes, Marik had gotten what he wanted to get for Cassim & headed back to the room where Cassim was at. =)

Cassim remained in his chair. Petting Iago who was standing upon his arm to be petted by his master. But soon, they both turned to see Marik arriving back in the room with Cassim's water as he requested. "Thank you, boy." he soon said to him. While Iago soon flew off of his master's arm to land on Marik's shoulder. =3

O.O "Oh-! Hello Iago." =) Marik said with a pat to the Archaeipteryx's head, then got out a crakcker, "You want a cracker?" he asks Iago.

O3O Hearing Marik, Iago soon began to flap his blue wings a little to him in an excited expression. ">Raw< Cracker, cracker! >Raw<" 83 the dinosaur soon managed to say. Almost exactly like that of a parrot. Cassim meanwhile looked on, chuckling at such a sight.

Hearing this, Marik chuckled, "Ok, here you go." X) he says & tossed the cracker in the air for Iago.

Iago eagerly & excitingly plucked the cracker out of Marik's hand. He then proceeded to eat the cracker by holding it with his single talon. Much like a bird today would eat it's nuts or even crackers. X3

Marik chuckled as he saw Iago chewing on the cracker, "Don't get any crumbs on me, you hear?" X) he says.

Iago continued to eat his cracker from his talons. But his head eventually began to look down his pockets to see if he had more! =3

O.O "No boy, I don't have no more." X) Marik had said to Iago with a pat to his head.
